Original description: Shell pyramidal, consists of three or more ? segments, double walled, and three feet. Cephalis very small, subconical or subhemispherical, hidden inside as a small sphere, bearing a stout, conical apical horn. Collar stricture with three large and two small collar pores internally with thin circular collar septum, but not at all defined externally. Cephalic structure has A, MB, two L, D and two l; two l very short and oriented slightly upwards. The inside wall of the postcephalic portion develops many ribs connected to the three lateral ribs prolonged to feet. The outside with an irregular surface structure consisting of a spiny mantle-like latticed shell. Cylindrical lateral bars in the top of the shell (base of the apical horn) prolonged to sturdy, long, slender cylindrical feet 2-3 times longer than length of shell.
Remarks on original description: The following species may be not closely related to the type species of this genus because of having the three feet remarkably longer, more slender and having an apical spine.
