This taxon: Wide conical or nearly flat 2 segmented forms with relatively large but inconspicuous highly flattened cephalis.
De Wever etal. 2001: Usually wide conical to flat dicyrtid nassellarians with relatively large cephalis, sometimes reduced to some arches. Basal structure with MB, a shart A, and well developed D and L spines, and arches AD and AL. Spines V and l missing.
