Original description: 3 Schalen sind vorhanden, welche durch zahlreiche Radialbalken miteinander verbunden sind. Die letzteren und die beiden inneren Schalen sind nur als Schattenrisse sichtbar, die 1. Schale ziemlich undeutlich, die 2. Schale und die Radialbalken dagegen scharf konturiert. Die 2. Schale ist etwas unregelmäßig. Die 3. Schale ist mit rundlichen Poren von ungleicher Größe versehen, dieselben sind von unregelmäßig-polygonalen Leisten umgeben und ungefähr ebenso breit wie die Balken. Das Pylom ist bei dem vorliegenden Exemplar von 4 Stacheln von annähernd gleicher Größe umgeben und ziemlich klein. Es befindet sich an dem sehr unbedeutend zugespitzten Pole der Schale, was dieselbe etwas oval erscheinen läßt. Diese Abweichung von der Kugelgestalt ist aber so gering, daß die Art gut in dieser Gattung untergebracht werden kann.

Diameter of first shell 9µm, of second (transversal) 29µm, of third shell 72-86µm. Thickness of third shell 5µm. Pores on third shell 4µm. Frames of pores on third shell 4µm, on pylom 18µm. Length of pylom spines 22µm. Basal width of pylom spines 5µm.
