Original description: A s'en tenir aux définitions classiques, cette espèce dont la coque externe est hérissée d'épines, devrait trouver place parmi les Actinommantha (sous-genre des Actinomma). L'absence de spicules radiaires ne justifie pas cette manière de voir. C1 : 20µm, C2 : 41µm, à pores ovoïdes. C3 : 95µm, pores circulaires, situés au fond d'entonnoir dont le bord supérieur est hexagonal. Une épine fine à chaque point nodal.
[Following classical definitions, this species, whose external shell is covered by spines, should be placed among the Actinommantha (sub-genus of Actinomma). The lack of radial spines forbids this possibility. C1 20µm; C2 41µm, with egg-shaped pores. C3 95µm with circular pores, located at the bottom of funnels with hexagonal upper borders.
