Original Description Skelett bestehend aus einem unvollständigen Ringe, dessen apikaler Teil nicht deutlich entwickelt ist. Dafür sind aber die Urstacheln, aus denen der Ring entsteht, gut erkennbar. Von ihnen aus bildet sich eine kugelige Gitterschale oder ein nierenförmiges Schwammgerüst.
Translation: Shell with an uncompleted ring from which th apical part is not fully differentiated. The fundamental spines from which the ring is developed, are, thus, well recognized.
