Original Description

Shell subspherical, tuherculate, with slight sagittal stricture. Pores very numerous, small, circular. No larger pores on either side of the ring. Basal plate with two very large circular pores, surrounded by a circle of smaller pores.

Size:
Shell 0.07 long, 0.08 broad.

Editors' Notes
There was no illustration of this species in Haeckel (1887)
Haeckel listed Dictyospyris biloba under the subgeneric name Dictyospyrantha, but did not include the subgeneric name in the species name.[comment from RadWorld database]
