Squelette siliceux creux à surface irrégulièrement ponctulée, sans reticulum. Coque hémisphérique à larges perforations arrondies, dont le bord lamellaire, troué de méats de taille et de forme variées, réunit trois cornes divergentes creuses, légèrement recourbées, ouvertes à la pointe, en formant un triangle. Base de chaque corne avec, du côté interne, une forte épine dirigée vers le centre.
Translation: Hollow siliceous skeleton with irregularly punctuated surface, no reticulum. Hemispherical shell with wide circular openings and a lamellar rim with wide pores of different shapes and three divergent hollow horns, opened at the apex and forming a triangle.
