Original Description
Arme verbunden.
[Diameters of the 3 roundish shells approximately as 1 : 3 : 9; medullary shell very difficult to observe, so that I previously recognise this species as a Haliomma, and named it as H. asperum, a name already used by J. Müller. Cortical shell is densely covered by very small spines; with irregular circular pores, generally as wide as 1/14 of the shell diameter, and radial beams nearly as broad as 1/6 of this shell diameter. Cortical shell linked to the internal shell by 8 (?) radial beams. (Translation from German by J.P.C.)]

Cortical shell diameter 170µm, pores up to 12µm, radial beams 3µm, median shell diameter 70µm, medullary shell diameter 23µm.
Rare.
