Spongodiscus having the inner part spirally convoluted, the outer faintly annular.

Etymology:
No information given"

Editors' Notes
This new subgenus differs from Spongospira Stöhr (1880) in the presence of the outer annulations and from Spongocyclia Haeckel (1887) in the presence of spiral turns.
