Original Description

Etwas rauhe langgezogene Gitterschale, 7 gliedrig. Verhältniss der grössten Breite am 3. Gliede zur Schalenlänge 4:11. Auf dem ersten kugelförmigen Gliede befindet sich ein seitlicher, gebogener, kleiner Stachel; zweites Glied kegelförmig, die folgenden tonnenförmig, letztes Glied an der Mündung abgebrochen. Länge der Glieder von onben an wie 1: 2½ : 2: 23/4: 2½: 1½: 3. Die runden nicht gleichenGitterlöcher sind an der oberen Gliedern kleiner als an en beiden untersten und nicht regelmässig in Querreihen gerodnet, mit ungefähr gleich breiten Zwischenbalken; an den beiden untern Gliedern sind die Löcher etwas grösser mit doppelt so breiten Zwischenbalken.
[Elongated somewhat rough shell, 7 segments. Ratio of maximum width of segment 3 to the total length: 4/11. On the first spherical segment there is a more lateral, smaller, curved spine; second segment conical, the next ones barrel-shaped, the last segment with a ragged termination. Lengths of segments from the top to the bottom as: 1:2½:2:23/4:2½:1½:3. The irregular roundish pores on the upper segments are smaller than the pores on the inferior two segments and not distributed in regular transverse rows, with bars of nearly equal size; on the two inferior segments the pores are somewhat larger with bars two times as wide. Shell length (without the spine) 207µm, maximum width 80µm. Lengths of segments: 13, 33, 27, 37, 33, 20, 43µm. Pores of the upper segments 3-4µm, of the lower segments 4-5µm, with bars as wide as 6-7µm. Spine length 10µm.
