Original Description

[Shell rough, stout pin-shaped, divided by 4 shallow strictures into 5 segments progressively widening from the top to the 4th segment that is the widest. Below, the shell abruptly narrows to the basal segment under which there is an opening as wide as 2/5 of the maximum width. Ratio of the width to the total length as 5/8½. First segment half cupola-shaped and half as high as any of the following segments; second, third and fourth segments barrel-shaped, fifth segment making a vaulted bottom with the opening. Uniform circular pores distributed in regular alternating vertical rows, as wide as 1/25 of the maximum width, bars 1½ as wide. (In German. Translated by J.P.C.)]

Total length 140µm, maximum width 83µm, length of the segments from the top down: 17, 33, 40, 33, 17µm, opening 33µm, pores 3µm, bars 45 wide.]
Very rare.
