Original Description
Rare.
[Long shell, differentiated in 8 segments by 7 strictures; the first 6 segments are very similar to Lithocampe radicula, the first one globular, the second and the sixth cupola-shaped, the other ones barrel-shaped. The seventh segment is abruptly bulging, but the eighth segment is again narrower with a cupola-shaped porous closed end. Maximum width on segment 3. Ratio of width on length as 1/3. Uniform circular pores distributed on regular, slightly oblique alternating rows, 11 pores on one side of the widest part of the shell. Pore size 1/26 of the maximum width, with bars 1 ½ as large. (In German. Translated by J.P.C.)]

Shell length 240µm, maximum width 80µm, bulge on the 7 segment 67µm. Lengths of the segments from the top down: 17, 27, 33, 33, 33, 43, 25, 33µm. Pores 3.3µm, somewhat smaller on segment 6, bars 4.5µm.
