Extra details from original publication
Distinguishing characters: Pentaspyris paradoxa n. sp. has the feet of the same length unlike P. pentacantha Haeckel (1887), in which the caudal one is shorter than the others. The framework is also different. In P. isacantha Haeckel (1887), the stricture is less deep and the feet are relatively longer.
