Original Description
1c. Tribus: Archiphormida Monocyrtida aperta multiradiata
A. Archiphormida limbata (Acropyramida). Testa pyramidali, versus ostium sensim ampliata, costis rectis quatuor aut pluribus in angulis pyramidis (poris cancelli quadratis vel rectangulis); margine ostii laevi aut succiso.
AII. Testa spinosa vel spongiosa.
IIc. testae spinis in pallium arachoideum vel spongiosum
(1c. Tribe: Archiphormida. Open multiradiate monocyrtids.
A. Bordered Archiphormida (Acropyramida). Test pyramidal, gradually expanding toward the aperture; four or more straight ribs in the angles of a pyramid (latticed with pores quadrate or rectangular); apertural margin smooth or truncate.
AII. Test spiny or spongy.
IIc. Spines of the test united to form an arachnoidal or spongy covering. (Translated from Latin by E.M.R. and W.R.R.)]
