Original description: [Obscurely three-segmented, smooth; cephalis enclosed in a small, sharp frontal horn, at the base porous, gradually passing into the second, lageniform segment, with no stricture. Second segment posteriorly swollen, then contracted and passing into third segment without stricture. Pores of the surface well separated, elegantly arranged quincuncially and in rows. Third segment separated from the previous one by a line, narrowed posteriorly with three lobes, the lobes broad and subcontiguous, at the base distinguished by uniform pores. Length without horn 150 µ, of cephalis approx. 23 µ, of second segment 94 µ, of third 'segment 31 µ, of a dilate lobe 40 µ. Maximum breadth 103 µ. Approx. 3 pores in 23 µ.
