Original description: Shell prune-shaped, consisting of radiating spines and densely spiral shells. Pores circula, framed by hexagonal bars, aligned with the radiating spines through the spiral shells (plate 2, figure 2). Pylome circular, of variable diameter, surrounded by l2-19 cylindrical spines.
(Dimensions based on 35 specimens from 274-21-3,54-64 cm.; 274-21, CC; 274-22, CC; and 274-23, CC.) Major axis of shell 270-315µm. Minor axis of shell 207-252µm. Ratio of major axis to minor axis 1.11-1.34m. Distinguishing characters (rw): This species is characterized by its hexagonally framed pores and densely spiral shells.
