lorica conico-campanulata, articles 4 sensim majoribus 1/21\’ alta, capitulo subgloboso breviter cornuto 1/144\"’ poris parvis adsperso, secundi article pinnulis parvis 3 retrorsum curvis, poris majoribus, tertio articulo valde tumido pororum maximorum seriebus 3, cellulis simul conspicuis 4-5, quarto articulo latissimo, margine connivente, pororum majorum seriebus 2, 6-7 cellulas simul offerentibus. Size: (Pterocodon davisianus. Shell conical-campanulate, 107 µ high, with 4 segments gradually increasing in size; cephalis 16 µ, subglobose, with a short horn and small scattered pores; second segment with 3 small wings curved backward, and larger pores; third segment strongly swollen with 3 rows of very large pores, with 4-5 pores visible at one time; fourth segment very broad, constricting at the margins, with 2 rows of large pores, 6-7 visible at one time.
