Original Description
Cephalis nearly spherical, with one apical and one lateral horn. Its pores small and indistinct. Thorax with three strong, downwards directed horns, as long as the breadth of the thorax. Pores rounded, as broad as the bars, variable in size (2-6µm. in diameter) and scattered without order. The upper part of the thorax provided with some few spines. Abdomen not distinctly separated from the thorax. Its pores similar to those of the thorax.
Length of cephalis 30µm, of thorax 70µm, of abdomen 40µm. Breadth of thorax 70µm., of abdomen 80µm.
A single specimen.
The nearest allied form seems to be P. columba.
