1b. Tribus: Heliodiscida. Phacodiscida aculeata cum aculeis marginalibus in plano lentis
aequatoriali sitis.
C. aculeis quatuor, ad formam crucis rectangularis dispositis.
CI. testa mod. simplici.
Ia. sine zona spinaruni.

Translation: 1b. Tribe: Heliodiscida. Spined Phacodiscida, with marginal spines situated in the equatorial plane of the lens.
C. With four spines, arranged in the form of a rectangular cross
CI. With single medullary shell.
