1b. Tribus: Heliodiscida. Phacodiscida aculeata cum aculeis marginalibus in plano lentis
aequatoriali sitis.
A. aculeis duobus oppositis, in uno axi sitis.
AI. testa medullari simplici.
Ia. sine zona spinarum.

Translation: 1b. Tribe: Heliodiscida. Spined Phacodiscida, with marginal spines situated in the equatorial plane of the lens.
A. With two opposite spines, situated in one axis.
AI. With single medullary shell.
