2c. Tribus: Staurolonchida. Dyosphaeria tetracantha (aculeis quatuor ad formam crucis rectangularis dispositis).
B. aculeis ramosis.

Translation: 2c. Tribe: Staurolonchida. Dyosphaeria with four spines (the four spines arranged in the form of a rectangular cross).
B. With the spines branched. (Translated from Latin by E.M.R. and W.R.R.)]

Etymology: Greek staurancistra = crossed fish-hook"
