Original Description
3b. Tribus: Stylodictyida. Porodiscida aculeata, aculeis marginalibus in plano aequatoriali sitis et e margine disci radiantibus (sed sine brachiis cameratis).
C. aculeis quatuor ad formam crucis rectangularis dispositis.

Translation: 3b. Tribe: Stylodictyida. Spined Porodiscida, with marginal spines situated in the equatorial plane and radiating from the margin of the disk (but without chambered arms).
C. With four spines arranged in the form of rectangular cross. (Translated from Latin by E.M.R. and W.R.R.)]
