Original description: Shell consists of four or more segments; shell large, slightly rough-surfaced. Cephalis hemispherical, sparsely perforated with small pores or without pores, bearing a remarkably stout, long apical horn which has the surface often roughened by irregular striae and distally irregular pits. Some specimens have two apical horns with a short conical vertical spine. Collar stricture probably with four large and two small collar pores internally, and defined externally. Cephalic structure has A, V, MB, two L, two l and D; two L and D extend as ribs connected to feet. Thorax slightly roundish; three distinct ribs near the junction between cephalis and thorax are prolonged to three rod-like lateral wings. The post-thoracic pores are irregular, larger than those of the thorax. Post-abdomen subcylindrical, very short because broken.

Based on 10 specimens. Overall height 220-260 µ, height of cephalis and thorax 60-110 µ, maximum width of thorax 75-100 µ and of cephalis 45-50. Distinguishing characters (rw): This form is very similar to Stichocampe (?) caia in its characteristic apical horn and the outline of cephalis and thorax. However, it differs from the former in that the collar stricture is distinct externally and in having more roundish post-cephalic segments, and the three long lateral wings prolonged downward. Moreover, the latter has a restricted range therefore these two species are regarded as separate species until further study.
