Original Description

Guscio grande, spesso scabroso. Il capo, sferico, è munito di piccoli pori lontani l'uno dall'altro. Le altre loggie contengono dei pori numerosi fitti e disposti in serie alternauti. La bocca è stretta e prolungata in un tubo anch'esso perforato.
[Shell large, thick-walled, and with a rough surface. Cephalis spherical with small pores widely distributed. The other segment with numerous pores, deeply inserted, and distributed in alternate rows. Aperture narrow, prolonged into a porous tube. (In Italian. Translated by J.P.C.)]
