Original Description

Skelet fehlt völlig. Centralkapsel kugelig, schliesst im Centrum eine einfache kugelige Binnenblase ein, und ist gefüllt mit grossen, kugeligen wasserhellen Alveolenzellen und kleinen ähnlichen Bläschen, zwischen denen ein ausgebreitetes Netz von Sarkodeströmen sich hinzieht. Die Aussenfläche der Centralkapsel ist von einem Mutterboden ohne Alveolen und ohne Pigment umlagert, in welchem gelbe Zellen zerstreut sind und von dem die Pseudopodien ausstrahlen.


Translation:
No skeleton. Central capsule globular, centrally including a simple globular inner vesicle, and filled by large, globular, clear alveolae and small similar vesicles that are distributed in the extended meshwork of the circulating sarcodeme. The external surface of the central capsule is covered by a matrix without alveolae and pigments, including yellow cellules and forming the pseudopodia. (In German. Translated by J.P.C.)]
