Original Description
Tripocyrtiden mit zweiteiliger, basal offener Schale, die im Innern des Thorax drei Stacheln besitzt, welche nur bis zur Schalenwandung verlaufen, aber nicht ├╝ber diese hinausragen. Kopf apikal geschlossen.


Translation: Tripocyrtidae with a basally open, two-segmented, shell that has inside the thorax three spines, developed only towards the thoracic wall, but not protruding outside. Cephalis closed upwardly. (In German. Translated by J.P.C.)]
