Original description: Test with very low trochospire, nearly planispiral, consisting of 12 to 17 globular to subglobular chambers, which gradually and slowly increase in size as added. There are 5 K to 6 chambers in the final whorl. Sutures are distinct, straight, radial and depressed. Test slightly asymmetrically biconvex in edge view. Periphery broadly rounded with an imperforate peripheral band, which is developed on all the chambers of the final whorl. Main aperture is in the shape of a low to medium high arch, interiomarginal, umbilical-peripheral in position and bordered by an imperforate lip. Umbilicus is of medium size, its diameter reaching approximately one third of the maximum test diameter. Relict apertures and periapertural structures are present in the umbilical area. Test wall calcitic, hyaline, perforate; perforation diameter varies between 1.7 and 3.1 mm; crater-like pores are developed on the earlier chambers of the test. Perforations can be occasionally present in the imperforate band area along the sutures. Test surface smooth."
