Original Description In Grundschema des Kammeraufbaus und Oberfläche der vorigen Art gleich. Nabelseite flach, Spiralseite kaum gewolbt oder wie abgeschnitten. Kammern auf beiden Seiten vollkommen flach oder sogar eingedrückt, auf der Oberseite sehr schief, oval, bogenförmig, fast schuppenartig gelagert, allseitig begrenzt von einer deutlich ausgebildeten Leiste. Auf der Unterseite verlaufen die Nahtleisten weniger bogenförmig. Zum Nabel hin, der tier und welt ist, besitzen die Kammern ebenfalls eine deutliche Leiste. Die Kammerleisten der letzten Windung erscheinen als zwei Kiele, die den Riicken randlich umgeben. Letzterer ist senkrecht abgestutzt, seine Breite oft beträchtlich. (Vgl. G. linnaeana D'ORB., BRADY 1884, Taf. 82, Fig. 12.) Etymology: In Anlehnung an die ähnliche G. linnaeana d'Orbigny Extra details from original publication Bemerkung: Diese Form kann nicht von G. marginata artlich getrennt werden; sie ergibt sich lediglich als flaches Extrem, wodurch leistenfSrmige Umrandung und schuppenartige Lagerung der Kammern vollkommen zur Ausbildung gelangen bzw. in Erscheinung treten können. Vorkommen: Emscher, Untersenon. Editors' Notes This taxon is both a junior synonym of Globotruncana linneiana (d'Orbigny 1839) and a homonym of it.
