Original Description

This subspecies differs from the typical G. japonica, in possessing comparatively larger test with distinct, robust, beaded double keels throughout all chambers, and suture which are raised and beaded, especially on the dorsal side. The surface of this form is often beaded and the coiling is almost dextral.

Size:
Maximum diameter of holotype 0.41 mm., minimum diameter 0.30 mm., rnaximunl thickness 0.17 mm.

Occurrences of the samples studied: Rarely found in the upper part of the Lower Urakawan, and commonly in the Upper Urakawan to Lower Hetonaian of the areas studied, occurring frequently with G. japonica in the Upper Urakawan and Uppermost Urakawan
