Original Description

Test trochospiral, planoconvex, spiral side flattened, umbilical side strongly convex, conical in shape in the axial view; equatorial periphery generally subcircular, quadrate, moderately lobulate, having two parallel, well-developed, moderately spaced, finely beaded keels, on the last two chambers keel unbeaded; chambers on spiral side initially small, globular, increasing gradually in size as added; final whorl consisting of five, large, crescentic, moderately inflated chambers; the ultimate chamber much smaller in size than the penultimate ones; chambers umbilically subrectangular, increasing gradually in size as added, conical-convex in axial view; spiral suture strongly curved, raised; umbilical sutures curved, depressed; surface chambers finely, widely spaced papillate; final chamber smooth; wall finely perforate; umbilicus extremely wide, covered with irregular hexagonal, very large, thick tegillum, with intralaminal and infralaminal accessory apertures; primary aperture interiomarginal, umbilical; coiling predominantly dextral.
