Original Description

Skelet ein ellipsoider dichtschwammiger Kieselkörper mit radialen Stacheln; die Kammern ungleich, ihre Anordnung schwer zu erkennen; auf einem Querschnitt erscheinen sie in concentrischen Kreisen, auf einem andern in einer deutlichen Spirale geordnet. Centralkapsel von dem Schwammwerk durchzogen, bis nahe unterdessen Oberfläche reichend.
