Translation: Cephalis flat, cap-shaped, with irregularly polygonal pores, which are separated from each other by a peculiar network of veins, which is also repeated on the thorax and abdomen. As with the veins of a leaf, you can see stronger main ribs, thinner side ribs branching off from them and even finer secondary ribs in between. The conical thorax shows the same design, which is only slightly offset from the head and abdomen, but especially from the latter. On the cephalis sits a very strong, triangular, almost prismatic horn, which only becomes pointed at the upper end. The edges of the horn appear slightly rotated around its long axis. They each have three fine barbs pointing towards the cephalis, which are almost the length of the cephalis. The horn itself is more than twice as long as the cephalis and continues into it as an inner column to end with the thoracic spines D, Lr, Ll together at a common central bar. The spiky framework inside is built according to the Periplecta type. At the level of the neck furrow, the radial ribs emerge from the shell, initially with a round cross-section and a small thickness. They then run partly in the thorax wall and rise freely above it at the lower end with wider, triangular ends. The free ends of the spines connect with the thorax and the abdomen in that the shell pulls upwards in a pointed manner at these points, resulting in what appear to be winged radial apophyses.
Size: (Based on 1 specimen) Cephalis length 15µm, width 33µm, thorax and abdomen altogether length 130µm, width 13µm.
It could not be determined with certainty whether there was actually an abdomen or a strongly developed thorax. In the latter case it would be necessary to add the species to the dicyrtids. Editors' Notes [Description: "Ä" stands for apical spine, "D" for dorsal spine, "Lr, Ll" for right and left lateral spines.]
