This page allows you to plot ranges of species as given on this website and compare them with the occurrence data in the Neptune database. An obvious conclusion is that the Neptune database data is a rather incomplete record of the biodiversity of the group and that total ranges cannot be accurately determined from the Neptune data. Nonetheless the Neptune data does serve to highlight which taxa are abundant.
